Mondays…no matter what you do, they keep finding their way back, and with them their blues. The best way I’ve found to put a spring your Monday step is with a shiny new dress—and this is one worth waking up for!

I was in Paris for Couture Week recently, and of course, when one visits Paris, you want to bring your fashion A-game. I was thrilled to have this darling dress from Hottie+Lord in my fashion quiver. I am a huge fan of the Atlanta based designer Tutu Longe, the force serving up Hottie + Lord’s classic feminine styles. The Nigerian-American entrepreneur opened her boutique just this year at the Shops Buckhead Atlanta, and is already making a splash with her modern looks that feel sweet but powerful.

I wore this gorgeous motif all over Paris. The distinctive fabrics and prints, a signature of the brand, are fun for cocktail, but also a great way to bring a little touch of fashion to the office too. And the A-line skirt portion of this dress is universally flattering—I love that different women can take this dress and make it their own.
