The Five (a/k/a A Few Things I Am Loving Right Now), Vol. 3

Volume 3 – September 4, 2023 – THE PERFECT DRESS TO TRANSITION TO FALL – THE DENIM DRESS

Welcome to the third installment of “The Five (a/k/a A Few Things I Am Loving Right Now)” which is a regular installment highlighting a few movies, books, recipes, art museum openings, fashion collections, dresses, hacks, Netflix shows and so on that are just making me happy and are worth noting and sharing. Focusing on fall fashion that I am eyeing and buying, as it is time to review, refresh and revive our fall closet choices – cooler weather is coming – FINALLY!

This volume of The Five is solely focuses on one of my favorite fashion “workhorses” of my closet –The Denim Dress!!! Truly the perfect dress for transitioning your wardrobe to fall, denim dresses are dominating my shopping feed and I could not be happier. As Vogue’s Rickie De Sole states “The denim dress is the perfect trans-season staple, as it can play to both warm and cold temperatures depending on how you style it.”

Depending on style and length, the denim dress can be styled for the office, a night out, game day or Sunday funday brunch. I truly love the High Low Denim Dress for work (see above). And the Abby Denim Dress is so perfect for brunch, game day and everyday play. They are also a perfect travel piece (can you say “denim does not wrinkle”). I have owned my denim dress shown above for several years and it is always, always in my suitcase when I travel. Great to pair with neutral sandals for now and an oxford shirt underneath and boots or booties for cooler temps. So many great choices that I have linked no less than five here:
