What exactly are you wearing? . . .

Pants by Emilio Pucci

I remembered last week when I wore these pants that I bought them (and wore them) to my wedding rehearsal dinner which was almost thirteen years ago! Yes, time flies. When my Father first saw me in them at the rehearsal dinner he (somewhat) politely asked me: “What exactly are you wearing?” To which I responded: “Emilio Pucci. Never goes out of style. They will still be in style when I look at the photos of this dinner celebration twenty years from now.”

Well, it has not quite been twenty years, but we are working on reaching that milestone. Thirteen years later, I still love these pants and love wearing them. I almost always take them with me on vacation, because they travel so well (no wrinkling at all) and are fun and festive, which makes them a great add to almost any vacation wardrobe. The perfect party pants.

The creative directors at Pucci have come and gone, but their iconic prints and designs have stood the test of time. They are virtually the same types of prints from the 60s and women still covet owning them. Put on a Pucci dress or pants such as these, and you know that you are going to have a good time, and you will be fashionable that night and in the snaps from that night for years to come.

Again, great design often requires investment. But, if you choose wisely and thoughtfully, you can enjoy that timeless design for many years to come.

Enjoy your own perfect party pants! Xoxo. Me
